Mushroom formations…

During a walk around the PTS (Princeton Seminary) campus yesterday I saw these formations I had kept noticing, and decided to take a few photographs.  Very interesting formations indeed, and very warm/bright colors on a very cool/coarse texture.  It reminds me how certain things in life naturally stand out where they occur/grow against the backdrop...

Bryan Rupp - Love the texture on those crazies (for the lack of a better word, (for not wanting to use the word fungus)). Hope all is well for you man. It being fall again I’m reminded of driving around last fall taking shots of the vineyards. Miss you man.

Daniel Escher - Yeah! I saw these today for the first time. I’ve never noticed them before this year. Pretty weird.

Revisiting the past, part I…

The other week I was reminiscing over all of my adventures.  It’s funny.  For as much as I think I’d like to do with my life, I forget how much I have already done.  And although this sounds rationalistic and could potentially excuse the dreams or hopes I might want to become, I feel the...

Bren - Great post, and great pic. Here’s a similar shot of me, cliff jumping in S. Korea years ago.

(btw, I see you’ve added a comment notifier–thanks!)

Congratulations!

Aj - Yay: I’m a winner! I’ve been out of the state, so I haven’t had a chance to peruse the oodles of funness that I can pick from. Thanks for the opportunity, friend.

chillin’ at the park…

It is highly unlikely for a day to pass without a trip to the local park.  It is the mecca of families for Princeton Seminary, a hub of social interaction for both children and their parents.  There’s even a rock climbing wall for the kids to learn on!  Since I’ve grown into the habit of...

Espresso madness!!!

This morning I made perhaps the best latte art I’ve ever done on our home espresso machine.  It’s not complete perfection, but then again, it is a cheap machine.  Espen didn’t quite appreciate it as much as I did, but coffee is an acquired taste, and I’m sure he’ll come around in a few years…
