We had some fun as a family today, hanging out at one of my childhood parks in Portland: Laurelhurst Park. Although the huge stainless steel slide has been replaced by a newer, “safer” play structure, I was bummed to not be able to take a photo of my own son on it, just like my dad did with my brother and I were young. We still had fun watching the ducks, eating our picnic, and hitting the sea saw. Hope everyone else was able to enjoy the brilliant weather. And for the gear-geeks out there (you know who you are!), these images were taken on a new-to-me Canon 135 f/2 L series lens – thank you Craigslist!
out & about: laurelhurst park.
That lens is the bomb-digity yo. We’ve always loved it.
One of these days we’re going to have to buy it.
Joel, beautiful shots man, I’m so jealous that you have that lens!
Thanks for the glimpse of the family–we don’t see nearly as many pix as there were when EP was little
We’re anxious to see all of you–won’t be long now! Kakee
