Yes, I know this is ridiculously late! But after driving back from an engagement session just outside of Canon Beach tonight I couldn’t help but put some images up to end the dry spell of posts! First off, I can’t wait to shoot Sarah & Alfredo’s wedding later this year, as it was a blast photographing them laughing and being themselves in the AMAZING light/location! Following is a shot I took on my way home looking out across the bay by Wheeler. What an epic night!

It’s always fun when the people you photograph are simply fun to be around. Zach and Crystal meet the prototype, and not only are they fun but they know how to pick a fun location. I have to say that Domaine Margelle Vineyards near Silverton was stellar! The possibilities for shooting seemed endless, and knowing we’ll be back for the wedding means even more awesome settings! Below is an array of the various locations at the vineyard, but more importantly Zach & Crystal.

And for fun, if we get 25 comments Crystal & Zach will be getting a free 8×12 for their wall!

We had a blast today in Silverton, Oregon, taking photos of Zach & Crystal to mark their engagement. The location was at Domaine Margelle Vineyards, and we were stunned by the beauty and amazing backdrops for photos! I’ll be posting more this coming week, but I had to put one up for now. Having known Sam for a long time now, I was stoked when he and Alyssa contacted me to shoot their wedding this coming summer. We had a lot of fun around Newberg this last week, enjoying the winter sun and temporary warm weather. Below are a few of my favorite images.

I had the treat today to utilize the amazing warmth and sunlight for my friends’ (Sam & Alyssa) engagement session. We tromped around Newberg laughing and snapping shots. More to come soon!

After a long break due to the flu I am back at the blog! This one has been a long time coming, dating back to late August when I was in York, PA. Dan & Kathryn are siblings of Alex & Beth, whose wedding I was shooting that weekend. Lucky for us it worked out to do a morning session while I was there, and we found a great local park and a break in the rain for some outdoor shots. Thanks Dan & Kathryn, hope Boston is treating you well!

Northern Ireland…images from a NW photographer

Here is the first installment! Due to very low internet locations the posts are not as often as I thought they would have been, but that’s not to say that the time here has been without adventure! We’ve had a great time so far touring Belfast, the eastern seaboard, climbing among some of the mountains, and connecting with friends not seen for quite some time. The engagement session will be coming later, but it was one of the only no-cloud sunny days in Ireland (they said you can count the number of days this nice on one hand!). However, the light was harsh (as all you photographers can imagine), so we worked with what we got!

Waiting for Bruce to pickup his rental car, the groom (Aidan) and I have a rest on the LEFT side of the road!

Above, we had a picnic before hiking around Silent Valley in the mountains, and directly before the engagement session.

Here we are sitting down to a great meal of Indian food at a Belfast restaurant called Indy. This kicked off a small bachelor party for Aidan, of which a “clements-crawl” for coffee ensued directly after.

And tonight a took a walk up the CRAZY NARROW road to see the sight from the hill above Aidan’s house in Dundonald, just outside of Belfast. It was beautiful, but I did have to cut the walk short as we had to head out. I’ll post more soon!
