Yes, it’s a crazy 3 day extravaganza for us with celebrations every year, but we love it!  We went out to Manzana Grill in Lake Oswego and had some amazing food, then went for a stroll through the fountains and along the water’s edge.  Here’s a few photos from the outing…

]]> http://blog.joelbockphotography.com/2010/03/out-about-laurelhurst-park/feed/ 3 signs of spring: winter thaw. http://blog.joelbockphotography.com/2010/02/signs-of-spring-winter-thaw/ http://blog.joelbockphotography.com/2010/02/signs-of-spring-winter-thaw/#comments Tue, 23 Feb 2010 22:04:33 +0000 Joel http://blog.jebockphotography.com/?p=2116 I had way too much fun with Espen, playing in the late afternoon sun yesterday.  The best part about it was when we both took our cameras out (he got a little digital camera for his birthday) and were photographing the flowers together.  At one point he got fed up with his little camera and told me he wanted to take a photo with my camera (the Canon 1Ds Mark II), and so the last photo on this page was taken by Espen.  I held the camera off the ground, he gripped it, looked through the view finder, framed the shot, and pushed the shutter button.  Way to go EP!  Hope you were all able to enjoy the sun while it lasted.
