Wow…holds my attention.
This image is from a recent trip to Malheur in eastern Oregon. There is a stop along the way where the hills are painted. Taken with Canon 5D Mark ii, Canon 45 f2.8 t/s.

These are particularly beautiful!
There are so many reasons why I love the NW. This morning as I drove toward the Wilson River for some fly fishing I was captivated by the rising fog as the morning steadied itself for the coming sun. Looking off to my right I noticed hundreds of geese circling. Beyond them, the below scene....
