Espresso madness…a short video with the 5D Mark II Well, things have been quiet on the ol’ blog frontier lately. But that’s partly due to playing with my 5D Mark II so much! However, I’ve been playing a lot with the video instead of taking pictures…so here’s something I came up with yesterday as I...

hey cous,
that video was great! Hmmm…let me count the talents of my cousin. Seriously, that was awesome. Keep ‘em coming! Have fun with the new toy! And have fun with your parents, I hear they are in town!
Thanks, Brendon. Yeah, it really rocks! I had to watch full screen on YouTube (by clicking the icon in the bottom right corner of the video, for all those interested) for the full screen effect to happen at its best quality, but you’re right. It’s insane how well this camera produces footage!!! And yes, the blog you referred me to made all the difference, and I’ve even done some of my own customizing to the process to help it a bit. Thanks again for that link!
Holy smokes! Looks like you got the iMovie processing workflow figured out! That’s fantastic quality. I watched it full-screen and it looked as good as any DVD I’ve played. Wow…nice camera.

It’s here!!! That’s right, friends. Espen’s own blog has arrived at a url near you! You can either reach it through the above Links page, or click here. I’ll also continue to post photos from time to time here, but feel free to add that blog to your rss or whatever other blog reader you...

Espen and the laundry… It should suffice to say that Espen will be getting his own photo blog. I will be posting a photo or two over here when I feel it’s worth posting twice, but from here on out I will be posting to the other blog…still yet to be made…so, I’ll let you...

My dad taught me how to do flips from an age similar to Espen’s. He’d lay on his back and we’d rest ourselves on his shins, then he’d grab our arms and flips us over his head. It really instilled a sense of safety while flying through the air…guess I haven’t ever forgotten that since.
There’s no such thing as too much Espen.
At least, not so far.
LOVE the picture!! the coolest and cutest great-grandson we have!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, what did you teach him that your dad taught you that saved your life??? Maybe I’m dense, but I can’t figure out what you meant by that!? Duh!! Kakee

I’m back with more photos from my trip to Palestine/Israel, covering the next two days in the sequence. The below image is during one of our many meetings with various organizations. This group in particular was called Sabeel. They are Palestinians who are Christians working for peace in many places, but pictured here is their...

Joel,
Thanks for your postings on Palestine. I do love your photos and updates. I gave your blog address to a blog friend in Paris. She posts often on Palestine also. http://www.parisparfait.typepad.com
Not that I can remember…wait, who am I? Thanks for the comment, Leah. =)
Joel, these are awesome pictures that tell a lot of stories. Are you sure you don’t have a secret life that we all don’t know about as a top secret photo journalist?
